CXV · 「輪郭」teaser

About an hour ago DIR EN GREY uploaded a teaser of their up coming single 「輪郭」(RINKAKU) to YouTube, and as always (when DIR EN GREY releases something important) I called Andrei and Patrik right away to tell them to drop what they're doing and rush to the computer to listen. I knew Patrik was sleeping but I tried anyway, called him about two-three times and then I called Andrei who actually answers the phone. (They both know I only call if it's an emergency, just like this), and I eventually got a text from Patrik saying that he's up after calling like ten times lol.

And back to the teaser, well, words can't really describe it. I was so surprised by it I'm at loss for words. I was very curious and also afraid of hearing Kyo again due to his surgery, but his voice seems to be just as good if not better. His voice in the teaser is so soft and beautiful, it gives a feeling of a new "style" of singing for him. He has done falsetto before, but not in segments this long. I've already been looping it over 70 times already. And I'll probably continue to listen to it for a couple of hours.

So, what did you think about the teaser? Are you as excited as I am?

CXIV • Week 47

I've been thinking of smaller things that might be fun/interesting to put on the blog. Since I've been using last.fm for a while (over 135000 scrobbled tracks) maybe I should post what I'e been listening to during the weeks. So this is what I've been listening too the past week, I guess you know most of the artists already. And maybe I'll write about some of the music I've been listening too, if it's not all too well known / doesn't need an introduction.

But (I think they're the most obscure on my list) The Gathering is an amazing band form the Netherlands, I can't really describe their music, I guess it's a mixture of doom gothic and progressive metal with female vocals. I would really recommend their latest album "Disclosure" (which also happens to be a 2012 November release!). I would recommend the song "Heroes for Ghosts", it's a long song though, almost eleven minutes but I can assure you it's worth listening to.

CVX · Tag, you're it!

Apparently there's this "tag thing" going on, and I got tagged by this young lady, so why the hell not.

The rules:
1. Each person tagged must post 11 things about themselves.
2. They must also answer the 11 questions the 'tagger' has set for them.
3. They must create 11 more questions to ask bloggers they have decided to tag.
4. They must then choose 11 bloggers to tag.
5. These lucky bloggers must be told.
6. There are no tag backs.

1. What are your favorite brands?
I assume it's about clothing, and my favorite brands are probably: _JULIUS, Chrome Hearts and DEADLY CLARIS.
2. Do you find it easy or hard to find clothes to your style in "normal stores"?
Yes and no, mostly no. I never find any good "main pieces", but it's easy to find smaller things. Like socks, underwear, scarfs and other things that are not as visible or just an accessory.
3. Favorite movie/book of all time?
My all time favorite movie is "Oldboy" (2003) by korean director Chan-Wook Park. It's the second instalment in his "Vengeance trilogy", it's a drama/thriller which "follows the story of one Oh Dae-su, who is locked in a hotel room for 15 years without knowing his captor's motives. When he is finally released, Dae-su finds himself still trapped in a web of conspiracy and violence. His own quest for vengeance becomes tied in with romance when he falls for an attractive sushi chef."
4. Something you really hate to do?
Things that aren't my responsibility.
5. What's your favorite piece of clothing/acc, and why?
This goes back and forth, but right now it's my latest "shirt/hoodie", I will post pictures of it later on. It's kinda hard to describe actually.
6. Light or heavy makeup? (if you don't wear makeup, then you can answer what you like on the other gender haha)
It depends on the occasion and clothing, which applies for both genders. The most important thing is that the make up works with what you're doing.
7. Working out or couch potato?
Sadly a couch potato, there are few things in the world that I dislike more than working out.
8. Favorite gyaru-style?
Hm.. I guess onii/onee. I prefer a more mature but edgy look. Or maybe a more rockish / biker style. I don't really know all the genres of gyaru, but I'd pick sexy over cute. I also don't like things that are too extreme, like manba or anything that looks like a eight year old would wear. Not a big fan of everything pink and kawaii.
9. Favorite place you've been to?
DIR EN GREY shows, if that's a legit answer.
10. Favorite eyecolor on the opposite gender?
Don't know, don't care.
11. Worst pick-up line?
Don't know lol, I don't really remember stuff like that.

And that was all the questions. I don't really know who to tag, I think it would be fun if you would answer the same questions as I did in a comment on this entry, a bit unorthodox I know, but it would be fun!
(And if you want me to give you 11 questions, leave a comment and if I would reach eleven people who want's it I'll come up with some questions!)

CVIX ·【SPONSORED】review「Green Apple」

My second review so far, from another sponsor called GeoColouredLenses.com, I emailed them once and they later on got back to me and they were interested in sponsoring me. So this time I decided to go for green, since I've never used green before and these looked great in the picture. (I'm really fond of bright colors, that really shows that you're wearing lenses)

The images aren't in any super quality since I don't have the kind of camera at the very moment, but I guess you get the idea.

These pictures are taken in my bathroom (which has a yellowish color) but I tried to edit the picture to look as realistic as possible.
So I haven't tried to "make everything look perfect" since I believe most people want an accurate review. So i've only changed the light in Photoshop to get a whiter more natural light.

My face looks pretty weird since the image is a bit distorted haha, and not taken directly from the front, but I just wanted to give you an example of the difference between having lenses and not. So you can see the size difference and the color. And the light is directly in front of me, thus making my pupil to shrink. But you're usually not in front of such strong light so there's usually not so much (in my case) brown showing.

And this is a picture of the same eye. I don't really have anything bad to say about these lenses, they're really good and I love them. They look and feel great. Probably my favorite pair of lenses! And GeoColouredLenses.com were really easy to contact and talk to. I wish to do business with them again in the near future!

Design · 5/5 | Enlargement · 4/5 | Comfort · 5/5 | Overall · 5/5

Design · I really liked the design for the lenses, the color are very bright and they really pop.
Enlargement · You can probably see how much they enlarge, a lot!
Comfort · Soft and very lean, no "edges" or anything that might irritate the eyes.

CVIII · MASSIVE VOL. 8

DIR EN GREY
MASSIVE VOL. 8
2012

-----
I was thinking of doing maybe smaller and more frequent updates. I was a bit disappointed that the sample of "輪郭" didn't show up on the official homepage this Wednesday, it "should've" if it would have followed them same pattern as "LOTUS" and "激しさと、この胸の中で絡み蘓付いた灼熱の闇". Well, I'm hoping it will show up the next week. Getting very impatient now, haha.

CVII · Worst blogger of Year™

Wow, every entry starts with me complaining about not blogging, haha. Well, I've actually been very busy the past month, business all the time actually. So this is my first week when I can "relax", or no, I can't since I'm at the very moment attending ANOTHER university, as well as working. But anyway, here's a recap of my little vacation to the east. Which everybody else probably read about since normal people don't write blog entries two months late.

AAAAAWWW YEAAAAA!!!

We went there around 5 PM I believe, and they opened at 6 PM.

Ok, I wasn't going to see Nickleback. Some merchandise!

I didn't enjoy Lady Starlight, and The Darkness was.. OK I guess. Pretty boring tbh.

I think my "seat" was pretty decent for not queuing at all, I'm way too old to be standing in a line for days and hours lol.

Woaaaaah, the stage was amazing! And it could open up as well.

Highway Unicorn.
I don't remember where I found these pictures below but, they're from the Helsinki show anyway.

Well, I'm not going to write so much about what I though of Gaga and her show due to reasons. But it was an enjoyable show, and I wish to see her again. This was my second time seeing her.

And later on we went to McDonald's (ofc I went there), also enjoy my ketchup pro tip.

Merchandise! A picture of the front as well as the back.

Mystical drinks and a mystical Jopo

Kitchen hurrdurrin

Uhm.. Some other day (obviously lol) Sini was LARPing at the center and I had a huge knife.

I had an amazing burger, and a gig with my new Hare Krishna-band.

Haha, my lack of words. Take this as a lesson of why you should blog earlier, so you remember anything lol.
One thing that I can promise is that I will upload a new entry by the end of the week..!
I got some new stuff I wanted to show off, so yeah, stay tuned!

Oh yeah, if you haven't noticed don't forget to Like my Facebook page, I actually have some exclusive content there that I haven't published on my blog..! And as always, I'm on instagram as well, take care!
