CXLIII · Finally, a camera.

I just wanted to reply and say thank you to all of you who mentioned things to see in Paris, unfortunately I couldn't see so much of it. I will explain it in the next entry why!

As I mentioned earlier I have bought my first camera, since I haven't really done any photography before and I wanted to get something that's pretty small but still able to take good pictures I went with a Panasonic Lumix LX7, what made me get it was that it's pretty small (thus making me bring it with me, I didn't want a huge DSLR camera since it would probably lay at home all the time). And the LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMICRON lens gives me 24 - 90 mm (35mm equiv.) and f/1.4-2.3 which is really nice for a (big) pocket sized compact camera.

But keep in mind that I'm a beginner, so the pictures might not be super, but better than my iPhone 4 ones right? Haha. I shoot everything in RAW (for obvious choices) and I set everything manually, except for the focus since auto-focus are really good now days so the manual focus is just a waste of time and takes a lot of time. Especially when you just want to take everyday snapshots.

Centralstation in Gothenburg.

Found a bird on the street.

I went to meet up with my partner in crime, Patrik, this is the first time I¨ve seen him since he got back from Japan. (ironically the previous time we met was also after he got back from Japan)

There's no need for a mouse pad when you use a magic mouse, but a little wrist support is always nice!

The main musical influence AnCafe is on the wall.

I went to Art Clinic to do some plastic surgery consulting, I told them that I'll be away a lot during the summer so they'll call me at the end of summer and we can get some time to schedule my upcoming surgery. Life in plastic is fantastic, or so I've heard..!

Dehner just got of the plane from Milan. She had some model work there that she did over the weekend and we went to grab a "fika" (The Swedish word "fika" doesn't need an explanation right?)
Patrik went a long too, but he sat next to me so I didn't get a good picture haha.

Jonas (and Simon BatAAr) also joined, haven't seen Jonas in a while either.

Me and Patrik were invited to a little BBQ, (which automatically means grilled meat and booze),
some of the pictures are shittier than others since not all of the turned out good, but I figured what the hell and decided to include some of them in the entry anyway. (For those who have me on Facebook will probably notice some pictures here that aren't in the FB album haha)

I also got the app Vine in January, so if you haven't followed me there yet you can just search for "VINUSHKA" and you'll find me!

Live long and prosper

> :C x < :C

Later that night I also ran into an old friend, Elsa on the tram. Haven't seen/talked to her in a long time. The world is such a small place haha.

And these are my gifts from Patrik that he brought back from Japan, big thanks!
So, what do you think, did my blog "quality" increase with some "real" pictures for a change?

In the next entry I'll cover Stockholm (!) and Paris..!

Paris 13th June

I will be seeing DIR EN GREY in Paris next week. I have two tickets and I want to sell one if them, if you're interested feel free to contact me at DavyGrayson@gmail.com, selling it for €25. And yes, I will attend the Paris show. I just have an extra ticket, that I want to get rid of.

Is anybody else seeing DIR EN GREY in Paris?

I'm curious to know what church/es that sell those blue Virgin Mary pendants, I know Kyo bought his somewhere in Paris from a church. But that's all I know, so if you know where they sell something similar like that I would love to know.

And since it's my first time in Paris (haven't even been to France before), any cool places I should visit? It doesn't have to be a tourist spot, it can be anything, some cool store, a nice restaurant or anything like that! So if there's some followers from France, please give me some tips on some cool places to visit!

And if you happen to see me feel free to say "hi", I hate when people tell me that they saw me but didn't say anything haha.

CXLI · Spring of 2013 vol. I

For some reason the image quality is shit,
but if you click on the pictures the quality is back to normal.

I'm still recapping the spring of 2013, but there's only one entry left about recapping after this!
And then I'll be back on schedule again. And I have some nice surprises that will "increase the quality" of my blog I believe!

I bought some new video games, (well, the MGS collection is actually Patrik's), I hadn't played Dead Space 2 or Fallout: New Vegas when I took the picture, but I've finished them now haha. I would recommend both games. I think they're superior to Dead Space and Fallout 3.

And on the right picture there's some gifts I got from Patrik when he got back from Japan. And the necklace is a gift from Andrei, WTFISD "occult cross necklace".

Just me, casually swagging around.

A typical meal at Grys HQ.

Hair saloon and bar.

BatAAr had a live, and there was even a fan from Germany there just to see them!
If you haven't checked out their latest music video / PV you can do it below.

I worked together with BatAAr during the PV shoot as well last fall. I did a little bit of everything, some of the clothing and hairstyles. And I also helped with the "stage" that was actually green at first. (Which is now the white background in the PV). It was a lot of hard work but I think it worked out great! I also remember the set being extremely hot due to the amount of people working and the closed doors.
And if you haven't done it yet you can always like them on Facebook !

Some night at YAKI-DA, it was really dark so I didn't take as many pictures. Crowded too, this was just at one of the bars. They have four floors I believe. it's a really nice place!

My friends in "Knight of Hangover" had a live for the first time in.. A long time. So of course I had to go and support my locals!

Things you can have on a wall.

Since YOHIO was in town I decided to go and see Nicole. I'm not really a fan of YOHIO's music.
For some reason people thought I was SEIKE, I have no idea why. We don't even look look a like, maybe because my surgical mask was covering half of my face? I don't have any facial piercings.

W/ Nicole!
